Ever since I've spotted different textures and fabrics being added to simple peices of clothing, I knew I wanted to partake! By adding cut-outs or creating a fuller silouette, designers have been actively trying to add dimension to make their clothes stand out. Although these changes can certainly be left to the professionals, I decided that adding a different texture to demin shorts can actually be really easy.
All you need are metal brads (I used a round silver type) and a sharp metal stick to poke a hole through the demin. Both can be found a Michael's Craft store.
What's important here is to not go crazy with the metal studs, you want to look trendy not like you're about to jump on your Harley.
